'Swimmer Girl' for Christine McD.
CONNECTED TO WATER COLLECTION
LARGE FORMAT 6' x 6' FINE ART
COLLECTOR COMMENTS:
I saw Peter's art and just had to have one as the centerpiece in my home. We collaborated together, but I truly fell in love with his 'Connected to Water" collection as a truly iconic and highly engaging art piece that I believe will be as relevant in 30 years, as it is now.
He delivered the art to my house, and it immediately changed the entire vibe of the room with energy and excitement. I absolutely love this painting, and I feel joy and pleasure whenever I walk into the room. It is a true statement piece that reflects my upbringing and a sense of freedom through hours of swimming in my youth with friends. Peter is a brilliant and talented artist and a great human, I call my friend.
Even more gratifying is the reaction the painting receives every time a guest enters our home through the front door. The piece greets friends and family alike with a sense of joy, and nearly to a person, they comment on the work immediately. We hear all the time “What a fabulous piece! Who painted that? How do I get one?” It makes for a magnificent welcome and often the conversations about the magic of the artwork continue into the night as people re-engage with the piece over the course of the evening. It is that special.
ARTIST COMMENTS:
I truly wanted to give Christine a gift she would greatly value, that would have the impact and style she needed for this room. After we decided on the general subject matter, I hired a model, did some underwater high-speed, high-resolution photography, and from that shoot, chose this specific snapshot in time. I then painted this large format painting over several weeks, creating multiple layers, and adjusting the colors, light, composition and design to reflect a special moment that we can all recognize form our youth. Painting water is very challenging to get the bubbles and light reflections just right for the viewer's eye, and takes a lot of time and constant adjustment to get it right. This painting turned out very well, and I am delighted that Christine gets so much joy from my work.

INSPIRATION:
From an artistic perspective, light and the ocean are a source of endless inspiration and beauty. The interplay of light and water in a swimming pool is a captivating subject for creative expression, and is often a deep reflection of childhood memories or iconic and beautiful life-moments. The crystal-clear water reflects the light, creating a mesmerizing effect that changes with the angle and intensity of the light source. Swirling patterns of light and shadow dance throughout the water's presence, while the cascade of bubbles creates a sense of movement and energy across the canvas. This creates a hypnotic and highly engaging visual experience. The contrast between the energy of the water and the refractive vibrancy of the light through the bubbles creates a dynamic and intriguing atmosphere, along with the large scale of the painting that invites the viewer directly into the moment.

'Love + Wonder' for Allie S.
IMPACT ABSTRACT COLLECTION
LARGE FORMAT 5' x 5' FINE ART
COLLECTOR COMMENTS:
I just fell in love with this painting the second I saw it. Peter has a large collection of work for sale, and as we flipped through multiple pieces, this jumped out. I see two things in this art. (1) I literally feel love when I look at it. I cannot explain this, but I am consumed with peace and love whenever I look at this art. (2) Everyone says they feel energy and positive uplift in the room where this art hangs. Clearly it was not there before, but it is definitely there now!
Peter is not only a gifted and extremely talented artist, he is a very cool guy. His art is electric and varied, but he also runs a charity for the poorest people in the world. I am so delighted that we met, look forward to buying more art from him in the future, and will talk him up to anyone who will listen and needs great art. I believe he will be very successful, and am glad to have one of his earlier art pieces.

INSPIRATION:
I believe that LOVE should drive our every decision, and be the center of our world view. This is how we live our best lives. Art has the ability to inspire LOVE, and to create LOVE in a room and home. In addition, I have studied Quantum Physics for many years, and always been very fascinated about the science of subatomic particles in relation to human emotions and energy, especially as it relates to colors. Each color has its own frequency. I focused on using the colors that provide the highest frequencies of love, connection and positive energy. I wanted the colors to 'flow' so chose the visual language of shape, color and form in an abstract form, where the colors all work together,

'Wave Over Washington'
for Marde B. & Merlene K.
CONNECTED TO WATER COLLECTION
LARGE FORMAT 5' x 4' FINE ART
COLLECTOR COMMENTS:
Looking at the painting I can hear the sound of the powerful crashing waves and feel the power of Mother Nature. The colors are dramatic and blend together masterfully. Peter Ashworth is an incredible artist and left me with an amazing experience of a stormy day at the coast, that I can look at every day to create the emotion of actually being there. Peter and I worked together on the subject matter. I really wanted a moody, but powerful piece. I feel that experience with his art. - Marde Black
Windswept. A magnificent painting showing dynamic strong winds and heavy seas crashing into cliffs. A very turbulent scene but majestic with the protection of a lighthouse for the safety of navigators. Peter Ashworth is a skilled and talented painter and the colors are bold and brilliant. This piece is treasured and loved.
- Merlene Kelly
ARTIST COMMENTS:
I wanted to create for Marde and Merlene a piece of art they would cherish for their home. Marde was very specific about what she wanted to experience from the art piece from the very start. They live in the Pacific Northwest, USA, and wanted a piece that reflected the stunning ocean landscape, characterized by its distinct seasonal weather variations and persistent rainfall. She wanted something that reflected heavily overcast or cloudy skies, with the sun obscured, resulting in a feeling of a wet weather day. The wave was to reflect a sense of Mother Nature's awe and power, and the small lighthouse on the cliff to give a persepctive of hope and light.

INSPIRATION:
The Pacific Northwest is an amazing and unique area. It is especially renowned for its rugged coastline, which stretches from northern California through Oregon and Washington. It features dramatic sea stacks, cliffs, and picturesque beaches. The region's topography creates diverse microclimates, where Western areas are wetter due to the proximity to the Pacific Ocean, while eastern areas experience a rain shadow effect. It is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, and it offers abundant National parks and forests, providing ample opportunities for exploration and moody experiences, many involving weather. I wanted to capture a special moment...a moody and overcast day during an ocean storm, where a massive wave breaks at the base of a well-worn cliff. I wanted to create the energy of the churning ocean, the heavy mist in the air that acts as a catalyst from the light reflecting off it, and the security and significance of the lighthouse as a beacon at the top of the cliff. This art piece is designed to capture and instill energy in the viewer, a window into the power and majesty of the great outdoors. This is a large painting that invites the viewer into the moment. I know Marde and Merlene truly love this art, and I am so grateful to be able to create it for them as two loving spirits.
